So... I have a 1991 pontiac sunbird convertible that I am working on. just put a kenwood stereo in it and pulled out the old square am/fm radio. well now i have a nice square hole in the dash where it used to be. any ideas what to cover it up with/put in there? i would just leave the old piece of junk in there but it's broken.
Wow I have a 91 Cavalier and my radio was way different than that? Maybe you can buy a trim cover piece. I didn't relize the interiors were that different
I simply left the cube in there when I put an aftermarket one to replace the CD player the car came with.
FG over the hole?
2010 Honda Fit LX
Fiberglass. I would not do it. I know they used to make a compartment to go in there. You may want to check on that, but like I say, leave it in there.
I would just leave it but someone cut a hole in the top of the car stole my old sony radio and must have stabbed the stock one. It's broken and ugly. I was thinking about finding a clock that is the right size and wiring that in there.
i put a gtech pro ss where my old one went, but my orig thought was just fiberglass over it. wouldnt be too hard the panel comes out easy and its a small hole to cover
Yea i dont know about the gtech. other than the radio the car is basically stock. although it is just the right size.
