Im going to put headers on my 2.2 and was wondering if I move my o2 near the bottom of the headers will it affect my car or my ECU? I also have to cut the o2 wire and make it longer for it to reach.
no, an O2 sensor will work anywhere before the cat IIRC, and simply cutting the wires and extending will work.
thought someone made and o2 sensor extention wire i know the 4 wires have an extender but i thought someone had it for the 1 wires but just cut it and splice should have no issues
