i was just wondering what some other non boosted 2.0 ohc sunbirds are runnin in the 1/4
I would say mid to high 15's would be normal with some work
try 17's, a high 16 if it's brand new and a 5 speed with a good driver. they're gutless.
14.84 @ 92.04mph
Outdated sig pic FTW!
i will agree that most 2.0 sunbirds are gutless but mine has ran a 14.32 @ 103 they, have potential just like any car if you know what you are doing and put forth some time and effort and my 2.0 runs like it's a bulletproof beast for a N/A inline 4
What have you done to it?

* over-bored throttle body(front and back side)
* all ports polished
* throttle body bypass for coolant line

* most vacuum fittings on the intake manifold except for the MAP sensor and fuel pressure regulator plugged
* plastic vacuum lines for the fuel pressure regulator replaced with 3/16" vacuum hose

* E3 spark plugs (best plugs money can buy)
* K&N air filter for 3.1 cowl induction modified to work with my 2.0
* SPECTRE valve cover breather filter
* gasket matched and polished exhaust manifold
* 2-1/4" full exhaust with a high flow cat to a single 32" cherry bomb glasspack with a slant cut 4" tip

* 2" x 1/4" flat steel front strut braces (custom) had to take off the drivers side to make the cowl induction work
* Royal Purple in engine and trans

* valve cover and intake manifold painted Pontiac engine blue
What the hell did you do gary to make that run a 14.32 @ 103 N/A? I find that hard to belive unless your car weights 800 lbs.

well you see someone actually posted my long list of upgrades right here so yeah the car weighs 2650 or so and started out at 110hp or so and what i have done puts it to about 165-170 or so. more power than a stock 3.1 and weighs less.
