doing headgasket on 94 sunbird, 3 possibly all 4 cyls have small cracks between the valve seats at the closest possible point about 1/8 in long. is there a water jacket right above there or will the head be fine, these things are getting really hard to find so if i can use the head again that would be great
'94 sunbird with 2.0 ohc? At the top front of the engine there is a water outlet that mounts directly on the cylinder head. I'm not sure if this answers your question.

This is VERY common. Do NOT re-use it. Get a new head.
