Any tips on how to remove the power steering pump on a 2.2?
Eay, rotate the pulley to the 3 front bolts, and then the 2 rear bolts... one thing that got easier after the eco swap lol.
So anyways, they are 10mm bolts. It helps to loosen the coolant overflow tank and move it around a little (haven't figured out how to actually remove it). The steel line into the pump (i'm ASSuming its the output line?) is 16mm/or 16 flare?
All this just to get the clamp on the dam coolant hose off. i'm not sure of the "supposed" advantages of front wheel drive?
Norwood nailed the answer on that question. I just did the belt tensioner on my 2.2 last week. Getting the pump unbolted was the easy part. Bolting it back up was a pain in the butt. I will tell you it's a lot easier than working on a 94 accord, though. IMO.
