I put on the rears earlier today and in the morning plan on finishing the front and was wonder what these come preset at?

Basically random. You have to set them when you put them on.

So pretty much set them to their softest setting and go from there right?

Yep

my rears i had measured at 9 1/2" from the top of the red collar to the bottom of the spring


and its a little on the stiff side still , but im going to install the fronts , and play with them and give out my final measurments

I didn't get a chance to measure what I have mine at but before I drive it I was wondering what they damping levels were at. I know the fronts on mine came set at their softest setting but never checked on the rear.
We had to do alot of adjusting before we put them on the car to get the mounts on but when we finished I know the rear has a 1" gap from top of tire to fender. Tommorrow when I start the front installs I'll measure everything.

Is it just me, or does anybody else see little to no diference between the damping settings?

Are these full click or half click increments?

i've noticed that same thing. i preloaded the springs more and then i could feel the change in dampening settings slightly
