New Rotors

I don't know very much at all about brakes, but how much of a difference would I feel if I were to buy new rotors and pads? Is it even worth it? Also, if I was to get bigger rotors, would I have to replace to calipers as well? Thanks.

Bigger is a big difference but also big cash. Try The EBC pads and rotors or even the ones by HAWK. The pads and the rotors are of different material and the difference is VERY noticable.

I have the EBC stuff and they are great, pads and both rotors were around $200.00
and I got them from Pep Boys.

Good Luck

Brakes are wear items and should be replaced every 30-40k miles or so, more if you use your car for track events, etc. There are plenty of aftermarket pad/rotor combos available. EBC is good, as well as Hawk (I've used both).

You can't just get bigger rotors. The caliper is bolted in a fixed position from the centerline of the axle, in order to use a bigger rotor, you need to move the caliper out. If you want to upgrade your braking system, there is plenty of info in the FAQ.

You don't need bigger brakes for the mods you have listed or in your future. It would be a waste of money. I have stockers on mine, and I stop fine. Personally, if you have a ridiculous amount of speed mods, get the bigger stuff. But for the things you have listed I would not go bigger.

Just for prices....my brakes costed me $80 and I did them myself in about 2 hours, including breaks and such.

Bigger brakes are not all they are cracked up to be. Just get some upgraded pads and lines. That should be enough for anyone's needs.

Bigger brakes are not all they're talked up to being. There's plenty of peolpe who don't know what they're talking about doing all the talking.
