Just as the title says I was on Gravana's site and looking at these. Anyone running them? I have a 95 Sunfire with the Blits kit 18: wheels 225 40 18 and I currently ahve Kyb GR2 shocks and struts. I know I should lower the car on these strust/shocks. But its only a 1 inch drop. I don't want to go low at all. Just a little bit for a look. I am wondering if I should go these or the Suspension Techniques springs? Opinions??
I was looking at the Eibach Pro kit but that is too low of a drop for me. I don't want to go that low but I know Eibach is an awesome spring.

You can use the H-Techs on GR2s. It's not the best combo, but it will work. And like you said, it's a small drop.
Anyone have them?
Does anyone know how they ride?
I don't care if they ride like stock, I woudl prefer somethign a little stiffer then stock.

i wouldnt do it. its possible to do but i like doin' things right the first time
Im also wandering about these springs, I dont want a big drop and would also not like to spend a large amount of money on struts/shocks......
I already have the shocks and struts on the car.
So Im not going to go out and buy a new set of shocks and struts to lwoer the car an inch. The shocks and struts were just put on the car before it went into storage.
I am either going to put a pro kit, Spspension Techniques, or the Tein H-Tech springs on. I want a sportier feel with minimal drop.
I think the Prokit is a little much of a drop considering im sititng 5 inches off the ground now. I like the drop from the Tein spring which is why im looking into them. Tein in my opinion is a good name, but I ahve read that their S-Tech springs sag. Will these also sag? Am I best off getting a prokit and being very careful? Or is the Suspension Technique springs a better way to go? Or will all three be similar?

well i'll tell you right now those struts are eventually going to blow. they arent meant for lowering. i always tell people when they want to lower a car to think it out incase they ever wanna change down the road this way they dont have to buy new struts again. suspensions arent cheap and not somethin' to cheap out on. if you want to keep and use the gr-2s then go head. they will hold up for now but they will blow. depending on what spring you choose will determine how long those struts are going to last. i say if your going to keep the gr-2s, get the spring w/ the minimum drop
GR2s will work fine for SusTech and Tien H-Techs. (And stock of course). Nothing else.
They'll go sooner than if you used stock, but they can control the spring rate.
Those springs will not give you sportier handling. The will just lower the car an inch. Their spring rates are quite low still, and the control arms will not be parallel.
GR2s can not handle a ProKit, you'd have to go with something like AGXs for those.
I've never heard of Tien stuff sagging, where did you read that (link please)?
Remember that all springs will settle some over time. But it should be minimal. Some cheap springs sag, meaning
more than 0.1" within a short period of time (year).
Sorry In my first post its supposed to say I shouldn't drop on the GR-2's
alright then thanks for the info everyone
so now C.T.S. what spring would be better the Suspension Techniques spring or the Tein ones? Opinion?
I am leaning towards the Suspension Techniques because I can get them cheap and get them next day delivery....
I can't remember where I read thatt Tein's sag but if i can find it again I will post it.

if your going to use the gr-2s then like i said i would pick the spring w/ the smallest drop to insure the struts will last longer
im going to be getting those springs... but wil the agx's work for thos? i know there can hold up to 1.5 drop but will they still blow fast?
ProKit is generally the "best" for most people. The ProKit + AGXs are the most popular setup around here, because it works good.
if its not below 1.5" then the agx's will handle it. if they do blow they have a warrenty if you dont pass the 1.5" mark then you can send it back for a new one
