got the rk cpoilover set and gr2 struts. the rear coilover has a red bushing that slips over the strut. supposed to, doesnt fit over the gr2 strut. any one else have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it. do i have to hachine the bushing til it slides over the strut
thanks
CHRIS
Those GR2s will not control RK Coilovers. You'll blow them, void the warranty, and it's dangerous to drive to an extent. If you still insist on doing it however, I recommend you call RK.
i would really consider new struts. atleast yellows or d-specs
yes. i would consider different struts. my KYB AGX's barley handle the rksport coil-overs.
try to return them or if you cant resell them back on eBay. (keep the rksport coil-overs and buy Koni yellows)
but if you were cheep like me i bought everything off eBay for 500 and couldn't return them. to me being stupid i couldn't return them and i had to machine part of the bushing to fit over the strut body. thank god that i have a friend who is doing there CNC machining certificate
.
anyways try to learn from my mistakes and get the yellows.
auto x kills brain cells!!!
what did you do for the front, mcpherson insert, kyb strut mount or any other . is you shaft on the agx the same diameter as the stock strut shaft. on the gr2 i have it is not and need to figure something out so i can use them.
The AGX shaft is the same size as GR2, the stock size. Koni yellows are a different size (larger).
