Well,
Time has come to change them. I've just have never pulled the inner tie rod ends off before.. is it pretty easy once things come apart? or is it something that is going to be a pain in the ass.

you will save yourself lots of time if you have a mechanic do it. They can do them in about 30 minutes with their special tool.
