just wanting some opinions from those who did the neon rear disc swap on the 3rd generation jbody. i have been wanting to do this but am having the hardest time finding the parts.
so i was just wondering
1.how would you rate the complexity of this project easy or hard.
2. was it worth it
3. how much did you spend on it.
4. was there anything changed from the 2nd gen to third gen that might complicate things. cause i know some people have had problems with the ebrake... anything else?

this might help a little bit.
I talked to the guy that did this. he's not using the e-brake right now, but says it should be easy to hook it up. he did say something about the connection at the end of the e-brake cable being different on the J's from year to year.
he says he gets really good brake response from it.

I don't know about 1st and 2nd gens, but 3rd gen's ebrake end are all the same. I suspect that 2nd gens are the same, but don't know for sure.
if everything goes as planned, I'll hopefully be doing this next month. and I'll definitely be using the e-brake because I of the autostart on my alarm, and having a manual.
I'll put some updates up here during and after it.
