According to tein, the srping rate on the S-Tech is:
180 lbs/in front
110 lbs/in rear
To me, this seems much lower than anything else with this drop. According to what shocks and struts can handle, the AGX should handle this no problem. Anyone have an objection to this given the information known?
I'll have a sig someday..............
There was a miscommunication somewhere in there, cause those look like the H-Tech rates. You'd bottom out alot if those are the S-Tech rates. S-Tech should be around 240/160 for the drop they're at.
AGXs are designed for 225/150 IIRC.
The infomration given to me by tein says that the rates are what I stated. I believe them. Why would they bottom out alot? These springs are basically like H&R or Eibach, just a little lower but not much. Not much difference between 1.6 inches and 1.7

you'd bottom out cause the shocks arn't made to handle that type of a drop. Thats what he was trying to say. at least i think. i dont know. what i do know is that someone was going to come along eventually and say that those springs don't match up to those shocks. and that person happend to be me. OOooo it was my first time for saying that in a post too. hehe i feel so naughty.
Get some Koni yellows or there are some reds in the classifieds. I absolutely love my Tein / Koni setup!!!!!
im running s. techs/agx's, no problems yet and have yet to bottom out
same here no issues with the suspension

Yes, but there is a noticable difference to the struts. I've got H&R's on my AGX's and they are at the absolute limit. The softest I can set my struts is 3/6 before I have some problems with bouncing. I would reccomend buying some struts that are designed with a larger than 1.5" drop in mind (like Koni's, etc.)
