Ok I'm very skeptical when it comes to buying things off ebay.com. Especially when I see I can get front and rear sturt bars for under $30. Plus they look like hollow peices of alluminum, very poor craftsmanship. I also hear some of these companies that sell on ebay are there to make a quick buck. So more than likely they are not going to fit properly. Does this sum up the strut bars on ebay or are they worth trying? If you have any personal experiances please inform me.

I've seen the ebay strut bar in action and there is a lot of flex. I made one for $5.00 out of 1/2" square stock and some plate I had at work and it has very little flex. This is an old photo, but now that i've relocated my clutch reservoir ala new intake I could use 3/4" and prolly have zero flex.
Allright so I should stay away from ebay strut bars then?

Not stay away like the plague.
They work fine.
If you beat on your car then any component is prone to premature wear.
Plus right now there are carbon fiber (wrapped) strut bars for sale on there.

Well one of the companies selling strut bars on ebay is supposidly Megan. I went to the sellers website and it was megan racings's website. So I don't know what to think because when I looked around on the website it does not have anything for jbodys. So I'm thinking the guy is a fraud.

I recieved front and rear strut bars from UPS today. The box is fully labled Megan Racing, and if what hear is true. Megan Racing is very good with suspension but not so good on exhaust. I have my front installed looks good but no big improvement. So I can't wait to get the rear on just got to buy the bolts and find a wrench to do it with. That is where everybody says the improvment is made when you have both on. I guess we will see. I'll give out a rating after the rear is mounted and tell you all if these Megan Racing front and rear strut bars are worth getting for the 95-00 Cavy & Sunfire. Oh by the way for both front and rear it was $45 shipped.

A strut bar will only work to its full potential when you have the rest of the suspension to the point where you need the bar, thats why you didn't notice a big difference. The type of tire you run will have the biggest impact on "feeling" a strut bar.
