AGX and B&G

Ok right now I have KYB GR-2 struts with B&G 1.5" lowering springs. I set this up on my 97 Cavy a while back when I was an ultra noob. I now know this is a bad setup and I also feel it every much with my blown GR-2 struts. But if I was to go to the KYB AGX struts and keep my B&G springs would that be a good setup? Anybody done this setup before? I personaly like how my car looks with the 1.5" drop. I would not mind my rear to be a bit lower but maybe that will look better when I put 17"s on the car. Just want your all info before I blow $600 on the AGX's.

My car has two speeds, fast and faster.

B&Gs are 1.6" and exceed KYBs warranty on AGXs. I have them on my car and they do work, but I know it's a craps-shoot if KYB will warranty them should they blow.

Ok then maybe I should go with Koni Yellows and the B&G's? I have the B&G already on my car I want to re-use them. I just need to find a strut to match up to it.

Konis or D-Specs would both be good choices.

Ok I looked up the Konis and the D-Specs on Gavana Tuning's website and compared them. I like the fact that the D-Specs are cheaper and still have the adjustability. It says that the D-Specs have 7.5 lv's of adjustability. How many lv's of adjusting do the Koni's have? But it also says that the D-Specs have a factory lowering warranty of 1.5". My B&G's are 1.6". I'm assuming the Koni's can be lowered more and still have a warranty if they blow because Gravana has a Koni Yellows with B&G lowering springs. So should I spend the extra $10-$20 for the Koni's? Or would the D-Specs be just as good for the little bit lower price?

Both Konis and D-Specs have a "reasonable" warranty, not 1.5". Reasonable is around 2", but it depends on how you drive. If it's a show car that never sees a pothold 3" would be fine. Basically if you bottom out and abuse them all the time, they will not warrant them. If it pops a leak for no good reason, they'll replace it.

I have B+G's on Koni yellows right now and I'm very happy with my setup. The koni's are nice and firm and I'm yet to bottom them out, great handling too. I can see these Struts lasting for a very long time. I have mine set on med-firm up front and soft in the back, rides great on the highway, but like any lowered car with a stiffer suspension as the roads get bad, your going to feel the bumps a little more.
