Today I replaced my front strut mounts.I put the older strut mounts in and know my car sits uneven. The front sits about two, three inches higher then the rear.I have tokico d-spec on sportlines.I read a couple of theds on hear and they said to cut 1/2 to1 coil spring out is this true or is there anyother way to fix it.

I'm not a 3rd gen expert, but I can say that using the older style mounts won't cause a huge difference like that. Check your install first. I can also say that cutting coils out of a spring is a big no-no, regardless of if its claimed to work or not.

There is a negligable difference in height (like 0.1" or something).
If it's two or three inches higher you have done something drastically wrong. I don't know how you could have done that really. You should be able to see something is very wrong in there.
Cutting modern springs is also a bad idea.

I just double checked everthing and all the piecesare in correctly.I don't know whats wrong but when the other mounts where in it sat lower in the front than this.

So you have sportsline in front, and 2 to 3+ Inches of wheel gap?
Where did you get the Old style mounts from? Did they look about the same size (they should have)?

Do you have a camera? Can you get pictures?
