has anyone used the duplicolor caliper paint kit?

I've used the Foliatec kit (similar to the G2 system) that came with a cleaner, paint, and hardener. avg price is about 35 bucks. i had good success with it, but after a year or two it needs a recoating, which is understandable. but, it never chipped or turned ugly.

Now duplicolor has a similar kit, for about 16 bucks. comes with cleaner and paint. has anyone had good success using this kit? it is about half the price of the other kits, so im curious to know how well it works, or whether i should just go ahead and get another foliatec or g2 kit.

lookin for opinions

I used the duplicolor kit when I redid my front brakes. I think they turned out awesome. So far I haven't had any issues with the paint chipping of fading. Couldn't beat the price.

Yeah. I did two coats and followed the directions religiously. Looks great so far.

I used caliper spray paint.

I cleaned them off really well with soap and dried them.
The calipers still look good, but.... I painted the rotor "hats" and circumference and the circumference is rusting a little bit.

Vht caliper paint = $5

A friend of mine used the Duplicolor kit and it looks great and is holding up quite well. I would recommend getting a higher quality small brush though.
