hi there
so im curious to know what the fitting sizes are of the stock jbody lines. this includes the mating to the front hardline, front caliper, and rear hardline. The reason is because I want to have all SS lines, but i plan on doing a neon rear conversion. So if i buy the russell jbody full kit, it will render my rear SS lines useless. i was trying to just to figure out if it would be cheaper to buy all the lines independently, and put on different adapters. the russell individual lines are -3 an and 10mm banjo bolt fitting sizes.
if anyone knows, lemme know
ps - if anyone just wants the rear lines and would rather split the cost with me, let me know too

I'm looking into doing the same thing, but doing a W-body rear caliper for my rear disk setup. I'm considering using hydraulic line for the brake lines, as it should get the job done, for cheaper than stainless braided, and I don't care as nobody will be looking at my brake lines anyways. If anyone knows what the fittings are that would really help me out as well.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
Earls...... just measure how long the line you want and check with a Earls website to see what part number you need, one end being ofcourse a 3AN fitting and the other end being a banjo/caliper fitting. You will also need an adapter to allow you to use these, the fittings are 3AN/10MMF.
^ say again?

Earls brake line at whatever specified length that you need... measure how long you need or measure stock and check with a website that sells Earls lines... one end of the line will be a 3AN fitting, the other a banjo fitting. You will need an adapter to allow you to attach the lines to the stock 10mm fitting on the brake line, one end of the fitting is ofcourse 3AN, the other being 10mm male.
Any clearer?
oops, I mean 10mm female... the stock brake line fitting on the car is male.
what size is the banjo bolt? 10 mm or 7/16? also, are you sure that the hardline fitting is 10 mm and not 3/8?
thx.

Not sure what size the banjo bolt is, use your stock caliper one.
I have custom Earl lines and adapters on my car and 10mm is what I used, no problems.
