Cost to install springs

just got a set of springs to lower my 01 ls, any idea how much it would be to have them installed?

My friend works at a ford dealership up here in NY and he said $250 to install my springs. WTF. I have this feeling that I am being jerked off.

anyone know a cheap place for me to go or someone i can talk to about this? Really looking forward to getting my cav lowered.

They guy at the local garage i bring my car to looked at me blankly when i said i wanted to lower my car. Ym friends vo tech wont be open for months ...just wondering what i shold/could do. got coilovers just sitting here waiting to be put in.

i think advance auto has some kind of compressor you can borrow and do it yourself.

well i guess you'll just have to pay a shop to do it. i told you i would do it for you. i have a spring compressor and all the tools. ive lowered cars before and installed my own bags. i emailed you and you never responsed so dont say i didnt try.

I don't know what price he's asking. But if it's reasonable you'd be a fool to not take him up on that. He really knows his stuff.

he only lives like 20 mins from my house too, id only charge him 50 bucks to do it

BaggedCav98 sorry for not responding. i hardly check my email ( only like every 2 days) where are you located man and when can we do this? Fifty is great! Have the coilover springs ..what else should i get for you? thanks again.

just checked my mail. if you get back to me before 1 tomorrow we could work something out after 1 i'm at work til 10. Seen you on a lot of the threads and you do really know your stuff so any help would be awesome man.

o ad about the mechanic....may very well have some kind of disorder...time to find a new garage.
