I know many people won't have a use for these but there are A LOT of us who race our cars and are willing to do whatever it takes for traction. I have a set of plans drawn up for traction bars going from the control arm to the radiator support. The set I'm making will be welded in but if there is enough interest I will try to make them bolt in as well. I am GUESSING the cost will be about $150-$200 but they might be more depending on the work involved. I have seen these go for as much as $300 sometimes for Hondas so I'm trying to start under that and at a reasonable price. So please post up if you would be interested.

I was planning on making the bar removable because the way they mould have to go on our cars might make them bind up a little. Easily taken care of with a pin and clevis hook though.

possibl, I wanna see a design idea or somthing before I say I'm willing to pay
Ryan you know you can come see the design. LOL. It's not like you live a thousand miles away. I'll let you know when we get them mocked up. Won't be until after the motor is in though cause I need to make them fit around that AND the K-brace I wanna make. My front end is gonna be stiff! I might need to get a rear swaybar just to make it controlable again LOL.
Those of you saying "if the price is right": There's a reason I put a spot for a price you'd be willing to pay....sheesh LOL.

oh LOL
Hey make a package deal for the Kbrace and the Traction bars
I would like to see the combo for 200 but would probably max out at 250.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Considering that the parts for both would be like $125 I don't know how reasonable $200 for both would be.

i would like to see the design.
I'll post up picturres well before I take anyones money. I'm just trying to judge interest so I know if I should buy the materials in bulk or not.

I don't know if I'll be able to make one for the autos since I have a 5spd car. If I can find a local Cav owner to make one on and the fabricator will do it I'll get a mock up for the autos too. Don't expect it though. Sorry. I'd love to help but I don't know if I'll be able to.

All good.
I understand you guys that have made them want the bar in line with the arms, so you're putting the weld on the bottom of the bars. So for autos this cant work because of the tranny/oil pan. Or whatever the pan is under there
At the same time, with Ken 2.2, and on ny-jbodies. They're cutting the bar so the bolts and mount using the tops of the bar. This way works for autos.
All I was getting at was, do the same thing for a K brace, but have it mount like ny-j or Ken 2.2/ Basically have the pipe extended. Same lengeth where you guys for the manuals have where its welded.
Cut up the ends so it can be bolted on the top side. And it should work.
WHen I used the speedracer Z design from Highrev some time ago. Flipping he bar upsidedown it could mount to the auto. Granted, it hung just as low as the old style Control FX bars did. So I was weary of using it.
Ideally, if could be cylindrical with the mounting ended in the middle like RKs design. That could work for everyone I think.
Ok, enough ramble.
Traction bars, we're a waitin'

Just a bump i think most drag and autoxing cavys would love to be able to put more power to the ground i know i would like to. I HATE wheel spin kills et's.
Got a picture of this? What about for people who do not have a radiator support frame ?

Like I said I'll post pics when/if we actually have time to make them. Also I can't make something for a vehicle I don't have. My car has a radiator support and is a 5 speed. This is the reason i said I don't know if I can make a K-brace that will fit autos. I have no idea on the fitment. I don't see how I could make something for a car without a radiator support either.
