found the problem wheel sensor..now what?
Saturday, July 15, 2006 9:12 AM
well i had a abs problem for a LONG time on my car and now its figured out..left front wheel speed sensor is shot. Thing is these things have to be ordered with the hub and this is 152 bucks out of my wallet. You guys know if you can just order the sensor or do you have to have the hub and sensor? I really need to fix this soon and for as little cash as possible. thaks alot.

for the front you shouldnt have to order the hub, the rear you would. $152 sounds like a lot, is that from the dealer?

Doesnt seem to look like mine, but i would check your RPO sheet for JA4?

^ I know your 98 fire has the exact same sensor. I just replaced both sensors on my GAM today and that's what they look like. GM used them on many different vehicles, which is why the listing says to look for JA4. Your RPO sheet is on the back side of your spare tire cover in your trunk. Check it out.
