sportlines versus wheel gap

so, I did this lil weight reduction thing, which is still in progress actually. my wheel gap for the rear was a lil over 4" and looked as bad as my pickup does. So I got some sportlines and lets see what happens....

BEFORE

AFTER

Yummy, the sportlines managed to pull the rear down about an inch, there goes the 2.3" thought after some weight reduction progress.... HAHAHAHAHA!

So basically its back to stock height! AWESOME! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

the moral to this story? Weight reduction OWNZ!

I'm surprised you show up to our meets after half of the things you say on here.

Those are sportlines? My rear has NO wheel gap at all, maybe a finger if your lucky and my fronts have atleast a finger.

u missed his last statement im guessing. he did weight reduction of some sort, and apparently it was enough to cause the sportlines to only drop the car that much... because the back end is really light.

No I didn`t miss it, I just can`t understand that any type of weight reduction would make that much difference. I have nothing in my trunk... but my carpet

I imagine that they need to settle a bit too. I havent driven the car yet with them on it. It still doesn't have the full wiring harness connected, a battery box or a fully functional ecu. The two that I had are shot due to some sort of wiring issue. I got a new wiring harness and bought a new ecu but its been sitting for so long at the junk yard that it lost all of its memory.... Gotta still plumb the nitrous as well. The nozzles are in, just not any of the other stuff, the distribution blocks and the plumbing....
