I got mine from Autozone.
I got mine from Carquest, they had the best price and they were in stock.
You didn't say what year Cavy you have, but have you tried Ebay?
I got 2 new rear Gabriel struts for my '96 for about $53 (incl. shipping). I only paid a little more than 1 would cost at the auto parts store.
If there aren't any auctions going for them at the moment, you either need to be patient or check the list of "Buy It Now" items.
