ok so i have dropzone springs on kyb gr2s......BIG MISTAKE......i went the cheap route and now i want something that rides good.....i want coilovers and i am planning on getting koni yellows for the struts and shocks......i am not sure what type of coilovers to get so i kinda need some help with that.....also how much can i drop it without having to get like a camber kit i believe its called????......like all i want to do is buy new struts, coilovers, and new strut mounts.....what do you guys reccomend????
koni yellows and ground control coilovers. at the price your gonna spend for that though you might wanna look into the tein basic kit also.
btw our cars do not require a camber kit
what about the koni yellows and eibach sportline springs...i like that combo but will it ride smoother than my set up now????my setup now kills me especially on the interstate....i do alot of interstate driving thats why i want something good, but also looks good too......ive heard that the koni/sportline combo is a good one ....if anyone has this set up can you please tell me the comfort of the ride???
well you said you wanted coils so thats why i said ground control cuz they are the best you could buy.
yellows and sportlines would be great. remember yellows and d-specs are 2 of best struts imo. they reason your car was horrible was because 1) you have @!#$ springs on it that have a crazy high spring rate and 2) you had struts that were not meant for lowering trying to control them. more than likely those struts blew about a month into being installed.
with the yellows you wont have the problem because they are able to handle the drop that the sportlines give. not only that but the yellows have adjustable damping so you can set the struts to whatever setting you like, unlike your gr-2s which didnt not have that option.
i went the sportline and koni way too. They are easy to install and ride amazing... I didnt want to spend close to 800 bucks on my suspension, but now i'm glad i did.

there's no such thing as a C/O spring that gives a nice ride. they all ride harsh. the Koni's and Sportlines you have mentioned will give you awsome handling and a good ride.

Another satisfied customer.
By "ride nice" I think he mean "not harsh".
