I got a Vibrant strut bar today and came across a little problem, the vent from the ram-air hood hits the bar. I'm not sure if this just a problem with the vibrant due to its square odd shape or if this happens with all bars. I took a dremmel and trimmed the outline of the fiberglass to make it fit. Seeing i dont use it with a ram-air setup this didnt effect my intake performance at all. Just figured i'd give a heads up to anyone with future plans on a bar that already have the hood.

except for GM's bar , and the special 1 rk made , that isnt made any more

i had the Rk and it still made slight contact with my Ramair but yeah the GM one doesn't even come close.

i just got my ss ram air hood, and i had to take my ractive front strut bar off, because it was hitting, im going to have to do what u did to make it fit.

I was having trouble with the company I got my Vibrant front strut bar from, took them a month to send it after i threatened to do a paypal reversal on them (through ebay) well long story short they sent me 2 of them so if anyones looking to buy one throw me a pm or email i'll sell brand new for like $45 ...lol
