Stiffer springs?
Sunday, September 10, 2006 5:33 PM
I have goldlines and kyb agx in my 2000 z24, and it seems like the springs are not stiff enough, the car comes down way to hard. I have the shocks set almost to full, and it hasnt made much of a difference. I know in new england we have bad roads, but are there better springs for our cars?

you may want to look into a coilover setup or even ground controls. Springs for our cars have progressive spring rates, typically coilover have a single higher spring rate.

also Tien has TONS of springs available, problem is I don't know if they have a bunch of options for regular springs but for there coilover setups you can have just about anythign you want for liek $100 exta (not sure if thats per wheel or per set)

your spring have nothing to do w/ it. you dont need stiffer springs, you need better struts. your struts are blown because agxs cant handle goldlines. get konis or dspecs. either way if you change springs, your going to have to replace your struts anyway because i bet those agxs are blown.
