K-Sport Adjustable Struts Update

Okay, so apparently they are waiting to see if anyone WANTS the fully adjustable K-Sport struts I tried to get made.

So far no one has called and requesterd them, so they thought there was no market. Therefore they keep getting pushed back for other pre-ordered products.

So I guess if you guys WANT K-Sport adjustable struts, you'll have to contact K-Sport and badger them to make them.

Probably would be the same as the Teins or very very similar.
Both being Asian companies.

It would come down to support n stuff for this market.

But if they were made, I'm sure the coilovers would be decent.

wouldnt compare em to tein just yet, only because they are an asian company.

theres plenty of "lower priced" coilovers on ebay, and some direct knockoffs of tein that are asian made, but quality lacks...

the only thing i read on their ABOUT US section is

Quote:

Ksport products have been available to industries in Asia since 1997. As a result of the overwhelming response in those markets, it is now available to the U.S. through Ksport USA.

We are proud to follow the highest standard of production which is apparent in the high quality products that we produce. Through aggressive Research and Development, we now offer over 200 coil over applications, and many new products will be introduced.

i personally would just like to see their credentials or companies they have ties with in asia to do more research on em....

looking at there price list on some of their products they dont look like there trying to be cheaper than anybody....I'd rather stick with Tein, at least you know what your getting, and what you not getting (screwed).

sad to say, i actually stopped reading midway through page 2....will get to it later. once they started talking copyright and IP..... my nuts quivered

only decent legit bit of info on em, was a possible link to megan racing springs, and a few other ebay thriving companies.

ryanL, if you get time, would prob be of some help to people to find out full warranty situations....such as:

limitation of height when driving?
rebuildable?
prices of rebuild?
upgradable? springs and damping

cause the way B+G and rksport did with the pro street coilovers.......

No $hit.......horribly hard to read. When I read your line above I laughed my a$$ off......OMG that is a perfect example of a good thread gone wrong.

Anyway....I'm getting the feeling of just another chepo coilover setup with some nice features like the solid mounts and stuff....but its nothing you can't get with real quality from Tein.
