I removed large bushing from lower control arm but not the metal sleeve, how do you get it out without damaging the control arm.
thanks
very carefully take a metal file with a sharp edge or a hacksaw and just make a one slit through it, then it will drop right out
yeah take your time dont rush it like i did
listen to him ^^^^ hes our off the car @!#$ up sitting in my toll box at work hahahah
on the control arm can you see part of the metal sleeve sticking out quarter of an inch?
yes thats the metal sleeve
A hack saw and 30 minutes of carful cutting in the best way to get it out.
A torch and a large hammer is the quickest way.
or take a chisel punch and just use the lip and punch it into the center and it will fall out.

I used an 80ton hydraulic press....worked great about 10 seconds later I was installing the new bushings.
I used the hacksaw took my time, and just like you said, it fell right out.
Thanks.
