i finally got my drop, but now im a lil concerned about if the tire will rub.. any of u that have this same setup experience any problems. and wut is the max size rim that will go on it? if u look here
Click ull see my setup. does everything look alright also? and did everyone's rear come out like that?

if you mean it sits higher then the front, then yes. the s-tech's are an uneven drop (1.7" in front, 1.4" in rear). it gives the car a raked look.

SO EVERYTHING!
it doesnt bother me really i was just curious, wut about rim sizes?
you can go with whatever rim size you want as long as you get thr right size tires. With the proper offset and tire size the bigger wheels will have smaller tires and end up the same size as whats on there now. And yes all cars with S-techs sit liek @!#$, they are all ass in the air.
If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the KYB's and how much did the KYB's cost? (I ask cause im looking for new good strut(s) for a small drop, and these appear popular)

so i can still get 18s if i want? thats good to know. im still a lil worried about that bottom plate on the struts cus its real close to the tires
As long as the overall diameter of the tire is the same as stock, you will be fine... now if you get a bigger tire than you are supposed to have....

thnx for the info. having the same size tire with a bigger rim isnt really harmful is it? i havent heard anything about that
For example, my car came w/ 195/70r14's stock.
Using that calc, that comes out to 24.7" overall diameter.
I changed 'em to 225/50r16's, which is 24.9... so my speedo should read a little bit slow. (.4% actually), when in actuality it reads just shy of 2% fast, but the odometer is dead on.... go figure
Not sure if this is an actual tire size, but 215/40r18's gives you a 24.8" overall diameter... a .1% difference
Best bet is to check a site like
http://www.tirerack.com and find out what they recommend for 18's...

If u want to get 18s try to find some with a +45 offset or atleast try not to go any lower then 40.. closer to 45-47(or 48 i cant remember) the better, Your offset will determine if u rub along with tire size in all.. if ur going with 18s, 225/40/18 should be the correct tire size. You should be fine tho because people have sportlines with 18s all the time with no probs i beleive with the right wheel/tire combo(sportlines and stechs are same drop in the front) But one thing people dont understand is offset will effect if u rub or not too.. not just rim and tire.. There are some better suspension guys here that can tell u what all u need to do exactly, but im just goin from my basic found knowledge on here..
yea i used that calculator thing but i wasnt completely sure of wut i was doin but i got the 18s on it to be about the same size as my 16s. i might even go fo 17s just because of affordavbility tho, not just the 18s
