Good thread to read: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=3&i=114824&t=114824

In my opinion, EBC brakes are overpriced. Slotted rotors definitely aren't worth their extra cost in my opinion. I think stainless lines are a better way to spend some extra money.

I found a website that has them pretty resonable compared to most and has free ground shipping
i was just wondering if ever used and what all thought about the product

I used the EBC Greenstuff and EBC Slotted/Dimpled anodized black rotor combo on my ride. They stopped nice, but the rotors didn't last as long as I liked.

I switched to those rotors when I replaced my pads the first time (to just a normal pad). The rotors ate those pads in like 24000 miles, but no biggie since they were $15 pads (and I autocross). That's when I switched to the Greenstuff. I noticed that they stopped a lot better, and didn't have any tendency to fade (especially at autocross).

They apparently got the rotors very hot though, because by the time those pads were worn out (don't remember the mileage, but around 25k again), my rotors were discolored and cracked really bad. Funny thing is that they did not ever pulsate like they were "warped".

Another thing with the EBC combo, when they got warmed up, they would squeel like MAD.

Right now I'm running with Hawk HPS pads, Powerslot rotors and russel stainless brake hoses. I'm much happier, better pedal feel, no fade, no noise, and they seem to be wearing very well. (Still autocrossing).

Gravana has a package deal on the Hawk pads, Powerslot rotors and stainless lines also Gravana Tuning brake package deal

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.

I ran the EBC pad/rotor combo for over a year. The only issues I had- The rotors wore very quickly for the amount of miles I put on them (maybe 15k) and rusted overnight, every night. There was quite a bit of dust for an organic pad. The pads were still good when I took it all apart and I gave them to a buddy for his Corsica to get it inspected. He ran them for a few more months before the car died altogether. They were pretty noisy under extreme braking, but, I liked them overall, very little fade, even on the roadcourse.

SO, ive had them installed for a week now, i hd ceramic Non EBC pads before and factory spec rotors and these pads, dust n turnt my silver wheels black faster than i have ever seen and my old pad dust wiped off mad easy n this stuff stuck to my wheel and didnt clean off as easy its bad dust
and they are starting to rust already, i dont think they were worth the bucks now.
