I'm new to the site. Thanks for having me. I just bought an 01 base model Cavalier. As I'm cornering I noticed alot of body roll. After investigating I have found that there is no anti sway bars installed front or rear. Is this a common thing for a base?? I plan on adding one. I just need to go junking for the bushing bands.

if you have the FE0 suspension it wouldnt have one. Check on the spare tire cover to see if it says FE0, FE1, FE2
Hey Thanks alot. I will have a look. I am gonna install a sway bar cause I can't stand the body roll. Any sugestions? I found one on ebay, I think it is an addco brand.

welcome to the body rolling cavalier with no sway bar, they suck. My car does not have one either,

yeah its a PITA to install one after the fact...
my subframe got replaced, so when they pulled it i got them to put in the biggest z24 swaybar (i think it was 00-02) 24mm bar

The biggest was in 03+ they are 24mm. The 00-02 was 22mm.
Buy an Eibach antiroll kit, 27mm front swaybar FTW!
There is a GP on right now for Addco sway bars. Great price, and the bars are great aswell.
If your in Florida, I'll give you my old FE1(19mm) swaybar.
