I currently have Eibach sportlines and I hate them. The reason I do not like them is that the rides like crap. More specifically when I hit a bump the car bounces up instead of compressing the springs. I am a tall guy and so this means either I lay the seat way back or I hit my head on the headliner. I do not mind the rough ride, I just hate getting launched eveytime I hit a bump. I know part of the problem is I have the stock struts. I bought the car with the springs already installed on the stock struts. They only have 7000 miles on them. Will aftermarket shocks keep from launching me everytime I hit a bump? Or should I just go with a pro kit or something simaler from another brand?

I will definatly buy some quality shocks. I just was not sure how big of a difference it will make.

Kyb agx are a lowering strut but they are not warrantied for the drop that sportlines give you. They are only really made to support a 1.5" drop and sportlines are 1.8" front and 2.3" in the rear i believe. You would really be better off buying tokico d-spec you can get those for $503 shipped. I know that is higher than the kybs but they would be worth the money.
You are right Sportlines have a 1.8 and 2.3 inch drop. This is actually lower than I would like. I am desperate to trade someone for some tein H techs or eibach pro kit springs. If I buy the tokico d specs will they still be good to use on a the h techs or pro kit? Or would I just be wasting money because with those springs the KYB's would work just fine. Thanks

Im running KYB's and they suck, Go with some koni's..
Tokico D-Spec of Koni Yellow, you will be a lot happier!
" To study and not think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous. "
Now AGX's and the Eibach Prokit.... Not as an agressive drop. But the ride is amazing i will tell you that.
Check the sig. Its low enough from me.
I've got KYB AGXs in front and they are awesome. But I'm using them for what they were intended!
If you get Yellows or D-Specs you can use just about any spring on them (within reason).
If you get H-Techs or ProKit the AGXs will work great.
i have the sportlines and koni reds. rides great
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
eibach prokits and kyb 's here.......i love the stance and the ride. wouldnt change a thing.
ClassGlass / RkSport / Eibach / Motegi / Ractive / Borla / K&N
The KYB AGX struts are perfect for Pro-kit or Tien H springs.
I would post in the classified section that you are wanting to trade your sportlines for a pro-kit. I'm sure there are members here who installed the pro-kit, and didn't find it was low enough for them.
Then after you have the pro-kit, I'd just buy the KYB AGX. It's a perfect combo, and everyone who has the two of them loves the combo.

My thoughts exactly. In fact I have already posted them for trade in the classifieds.
