Got a 2001 Sunfire and while the car in motion I get a ....ticking noise coming form the front passenger side any Idea what It could be. When I step on the brake the noise goes away...
could you be a little more descriptive at all?
when does the ticking occur?
does it do it only when you turn the wheel to the left or right?
does it do it at any certain speeds?
i think its a cv joint but thats just me

It happens everytime I drive the car no matter the speed , Kinda a rappid ticking noise. I hear it while turing aslo it dissapers when appling the breaks
Probably want to check the pads and rotors for anything obviously wrong before trying anything else. Just taking the wheel off you should be able to see if there's no pad left, or giant marks in the rotor.
Might want to check if a buddy put a zip tie on the axle too. That's one of my favorite pranks.
