Ummm, there's only really one way to put the thing on.
As long as the firewall mounting part in the middle is facing down and touching the firewall then its on correctly.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.

My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
it will fit the eco , you just got to be alittle creative
also dc sports sells 1 that fits with no modifaction for the eco
The GM bar will fit on any 95-05 regardless of engine. Like JDM said, you may have to be a bit creative.

The one I have has two mounting tabs for the firewall. Is this normal????
yep. part of the added structure for the verts
use the mounting tabs. drill a hole in the firewall, throw a bolt and washer in there, and a nut on the other side. you'll totally notice a difference in the front in with that strut bar bolted to the firewall.

When i had mine i used a bolt to attach the middle part ot the firewall of the car through the piece that lay flat on the firewall.
I have since sold the car and i have the same bar on my wifes Chevy Malibu. If you have a malibu it fit with no modifcations.

This may be a dumb ? but do you need to remove the dash to be able to attach a nut to the back side of the bolt. I don't really want to just ream a big self tapping screw through the firewall and whatever is on the other side.

the thing on your winsheild wipers comes off and lets you reach down there
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
just remove the 4 holding that side. it bends relatively easy.
be very careful you don't drop your ummm... nut.

Come on, Wade. Where's your sense of adventure? LOL...
Those extra brackerts line up for those with Cruise mounted on the firewall right?
No, cruise is mounted right between the tabs.
