i know that i will eventually want to get some sportlines and d-specs. then i want to get the eibach anti-swaybar kit. what i dont know is, which should be done first, and which will have the greatest effect. also are there any pros cons to doing one before the other?
oh...btw i tried searching but i couldnt find anything specific, what does the aluminum controll arm swap do? what is the intended purpose of such a swap.
thnx
luke
First question: Either/or. You'll notice a difference either way. In my opinion it would be easier to do the bars before the drop
Second question, lessens your unsprung weight.
i guess i should have been more specific, i read in the searches that i did that the control arms lessen the unsprung weight, but i dont know what that translates to in performance. is there a benifit in handling (if so what aspect?) or is it just a way to drop a couple of pounds from the car?
Take from here:

(its a motorcycle site, but the concept is the same for cars)
Unsprung weight is the weight of the components not supported by the suspension, principally the wheels, tires, lower fork legs, and brakes. Lower unsprung weight allows the tires to maintain better contact with the uneven surface of the road, thus making for a safer, better controlled, and more enjoyable ride.

It will also drop the weight a couple pounds and being aluminum, polish quite nicely

ah, understood. thanx.
question tho, why would you do the swaybars before the springs? any reason in particular?
