massive brake problems

ok i jacked my car up to change the pads and my friend wasnt paying attention to what he was doing and pinched my rear brake lines with a jack stand. its an 03 eco, and i was wondering if it would be possible to turn off the abs and cap off the rear lines at the distrobution block, then bleed the front so that i can get it into town

He pinched the hard line?
One thing you can do is just cut it behind the damage, get a female fitting, put it on the end, flare the end with a flaring tool and get a 3' or so long piece of hardbent line from an autoparts store with the end fittings you need that will fit into the rear brakes just fine.
Another thing, theres several comnpanies online that sell premade factory-like bend hardline that would go right up and fit like stock.

To actually answer your question, that would be possible. Capping the rear lines at the ABS module would require fittings or bolts or both. IIRC the front and rear is completely seperated from the front at the MS and still sep. inside the ABS unit and the MS is damed so the fluid level of the front is independant of the rear before it reaches a critical level......I'm not going to tell you what I'd try since it will most likely lock this thread up tight.

If it isn't leaking you can still drive it to a shop, I wouldn't drive it anywhere else though.
You can get a couple of barrel connectors, a small piece of hard line, and rent a flaring tool and fix it yourself too.
