ive searched but i havent come up with the answer im looking for. about 1 year ago i bought a set of b&g lowering springs an koni yellows. as soon as i put them on id get this clunk sound so i figured it was the mounts i replaced them . and it was still there.so i dealt with it for awhile till one day it annoyed me to the point of taking the spring out and replacing them with the old stock ones. and the clunk was gone .so i thought it was just the springs so before just buying some different ones (granted i really wasnt that happy with the b&g's) i asked a few friends (some have cavs some have hondas ) and some have also said that they have a clunking problem. my question is what causes the clunk? maybe im a little dimm but how does a spring cause a clunk ?
I've got B+Gs. No clunk. Something is probably wrong with your suspension, and it's probably not the springs.
maybe your spring isnt seating to the strut properly?

I have the same problem, but im riding on gr2's until i order my full tein setup next month. My springs are setting right, but that sound is only coming from the passenger side when i go over a bump. I just changed the struts a week ago so im guessing its the strut mount.
when it comes to boobs i need a girl with bad grades cause im tired of all the ones walking around with straight a's
after further investigation I realized the spring on the rear driver side where the noise was coming from was upside down. I feel like such @$%
