Intrax vs. Eibach

I had a '98 Cav and installed the Intrax. Lowered it about 1.5" and the road was OK, but a little stiff. How do the Eibach Pro and Sport compair in ride quality to the Intrax?

hmm...
well, i had intrax and koni reds on my '96 z24 and loved the ride, even if the damping was turned up too high.
ran sportlines and koni yellows on my '01 z24. offered a lower ride height (especially in the back), but the handling just wasn't there for me. personal opinion, of course.
given the choice, i would've gone with the intrax again on a third try.

what might make the difference in what to use will be what benefits you want; lower ride height or better handling?

i've never used the pro-kit springs, but they have an advertised drop that would sit higher than the intrax while supposedly offering a more sporty ride than the sportlines...if that makes sense.

if you have the chance, find folks near you with each kind of spring and take a ride. this is simply the best way to make the choice as to what'll work better for you.

pro-kit is for handleing performance, sportlines are for looks(not that dont give some performance) personally i like the sportlines and have them on my 97, and had em on my 96 too..

i have no idea about the intraxs.

I had Intrax on my 97 Z24 ( it was a 2 inch drop) looked Great!!!! It was on stock shocks so ride was not the best, but good. My 96 Z24 has Pro-Kit with Mantapart Bilsteins. Rides great!!! Handling sucks when compared to my 01 Z with Sportlines and Koni's. Also my 96 Z has a rear sway bar, my 01 Z does not. Still the 01 will out handle the 96 any day. For looks Sportlines or intrax, for handling Sportlines over Pro-Kit.

My friend just went from Intrax to Pro-kit because he was scraping his body kit and says the Pro-kit rides way better. This is with stock (probably blown) struts so maybe not the best comparison.
