inexpensive auto-x setup ?
Sunday, January 28, 2007 1:06 PM
i just started getting into auto-x this last season and i find myself wanting to do more before this season starts. i would just like some opinions on a decent strut/sping combo for a relatively good price. not wanting to spend too much but no ebay crap either.

any opinions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

^^ Good call. Gravana has it for just a little more than the AGX/Prokits when purchased seperately (depending on what price you get shopping around)

My KYB AGX struts and H&R Springs work very well for a budget auto-x setup.

yup, agx and either pro-kit or h&r's. pro-kit being more comfortable for the road, h&r's are stiffer for racing

i def think i'm going to go with the kyb agx

has anyone used the suspenion technique springs??

i def want a minimal drop due to some of the roads here and speed bumps.

thanks

i would personaly say Koni's matched up with some Eibachs.... my konis with Ground Control coil overs were unreal for track use .... ahah no so much for daily driver though (only the coil overs) the shocks (koni yellows) are amazing for any set up.. highly suggested

Don't forget a rear sway bar, Addco, or Progress. I'm planing on the pro-kits and agxs to get the lifetime warranty deal.
