I know the 99+ and the pre 99 are interchangeable, my understanding was that the suspension geometry never changed from 95-05, so tha tmeans the strut mount holes in the tower should be in the same location, and the hole for the struct should be the same size. I have never tried the 96-98 style on a 03 thought, so i am not sure, but i dont see why they wouldn't work.

as long as you have the complete mounts , then yes you can swap them around

ive had 95-early 99 in my 00 cav , and 00-05 in my 97

yeah, it say the all parts are interchangable, but since they say the 95-99 strut mounts look different than the 2000+ I needed to make sure

if it says they are interchangable then they will work. yes the 95-99 mounts will work. they are actually the better mounts. the 00+ are a 1 piece mount and the 95-99 mounts are 3 piece. usually when the mounts go bad, its the strut mount bearning. well since the 00+ is a 1 piece, you have to buy a whole new strut mount, where as in the 95-99 you can take it apart and send the 10 bucks on the bearing.
