you didn't answer my questions, i will get comfort if i jack them all the way up as they can go and put it at the softest possible setting, that is what im going to do, i dont wanna lower it, i just want a durable and long lasting strut unlike the stocks that last 2 days

well even if they are all the way up....ur still gnna get the same amount of travel outta them, they are built to be stiff at any setting...even if u set the dampening soft they wont get to a stock feel.....they come with solid mounts and no mater what are gnna make some noises, pretty much u are gnna have a stock looking car with a solid suspencion

they are linear springs with spring rates that are high, you will not get OEM comfort form coilovers

1. i would double check that from the factory the springs are atleast at the same height... they might differ from strut to strut. but as for leaving them, you paid for coilovers, use them!

2. let the struts break in, id say 1000kms, then start playing around with them to see where you like it (i just guessed at 1000, im probably sure its less)

3. to bolt the struts in? IIRC its a direct bolt, i dont see why it wouldnt be?

4. your out of luck.. their coilovers... their designed for performance, not comfort.. lol :p

5. good question... dont know

now, do you have them already? if so anychance in any of the paperwork it has the product numbers for the front and rear upper mounts? lol

For both, check out www.tein.com
Download the instruction manual for the cavalier pillowball.
And ave all our questions answered.

Basically, you max out the dampening, then bring it back to the middle.
That way your at 'center' hard or soft.

So, anyone in the market for Teins?
