Or am I going to be the first J autocrossing on these?
Looking for some base settings to start with.
I'm starting off with a 1.5" drop all around on medium settings 2 degrees camber and 0 toe, I know that toe out is better but for daily driving I don't like it, I can always add it when I get to the autocross. I'll probably end up lowering the stiffness in the front and raising it in the rear for most courses, and running stiffer all around for flat courses.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for settings to try out?
Other suspension components I have:
-Front and rear Addco 1" Sway Bars
-Front and rear strut bars
-Control arm bushings
-Chris
A replacement?
Or just a mount preinstalled?
Front and rear are both solid, nothing to swap out for factory parts at all.
100% bolt on out of the box.

Yes all 4 corners are replacements the fronts are solid pillow ball mounts and the rears are solid with rubber bushings on the top.
I'll know about the clunking by the end of this week when I install them but I'm going to guess no because you havn't seen Event or anyone else commenting about it.

Hopefully I'll get them on tonight depending on how much of a pain the control arm bushings want to be when we replace those as well. Won't get time to reallly test em out till next weekend tho. I'm also getting them aligned 2degrees negative camber o toe in the front. Should handle really nice.

No pops, clunks, whibble wobbles, or quips,( lol ) none at all.
Tein SS's is the best suspension available for our J's...the best hands down. You will have no problems with them at all. Stright out of the box and onto the car and thats the last time you will ever have to worry about mounts.
In-cred-i-ble. Thats one word to describe these. Incredibly responsive, very firm, but not bouncy. Deffinately will merrit some time improvment at the autox. Next autox I'll start trying out diffrent settings. But 8 all around seems like a pretty good place to start.

I am currently trying to purchase some Tein SS's from Gravana. Chad said that Tein doesn't have any right now and neither do they. I am having a few problems with Gravana replying to my e-mails tho. They ran my credit card more than once and my theft protection kicked in. I dunno if they gave up or what but I want the damn things and I want them now.
So, no... you won't be the only autocrossing on these for too long, provided, that is, if Gravana can hurry up and get me some more information. I hope something happens soon, I might take my business elsewhere.
Where else did you guys purchase the Tein SS's??
TEIN is currently out of stock with the SS and wont be getting them in until the end of April or beginning of May.....this is directly from TEIN.
Your best bet is try TEIN dealers and see if they have any stock.
I know this wait for my set is killing me! 4 weeks now and i really want them.
So any feedback by now?

haven't you made enough threads asking about this @!#$ coilovers?
They are top quality, if you can afford them buy them, if not.... STFU already, no need to bump that died over a year and half ago to ask the same crap again.
Did, just taking soo long to get em cuz of godamn turkey holiday.
Shop I got em (on the web)from decided to take looong weekend starting Wed( THRU TILL F-IN TUE.)
...never thought waiting would bother me BUT NOW I found this PERFECT place 10 minutes from my house that has em in stock and they might have beat the price I got em for after all is said an done coming thru customs/border!!!...but any way this place:
http://www.jrponline.com/ :has evreything, and if you deal in cash, then you cash in deal; solid dude.
I want to give him the biz, if only I had been a day or so more hesitant(i know hard to believe!)!
...BUT I'm gonna buy some sparcos of him...this thing called 'tunning' is adictive and I'm gettin a little scared...I'm starting to think bout...no, 'nuff said.
...anyway I was just wondering what the fukin feedback is cuz this thread wasnt really answered so Eeee-Zeeee.

the feedback is everyone who has them loves them... I don't know why you keep asking this over and over and over. Are you just gonna keep going till someone tells you they suck?
If that's the case then fine... They are garbage, your threw you money away, you could have sent me the cash and I can paint some stock stuff green and ship it to with a sticker or two, your better off with some ebay coilovers on stock struts, your springs are gonna brake a fall off then you will wreck and die etc. etc.
Im not asking if they r good just wondering if dude that started thread would pipe-in bout his track experience etc.

I like this answer
But damn you keep asking these @!#$ repetitive questions about the ss coilovers, go and buy them and see for yourself. And you bumped up a thread a few weeks ago by strat81, who so happens to autox with them. So your answer was right there, go put your money down order them and stop being a bitch about it.
i have em. i auto-x. you should not buy them. end of story. they won't make YOU any better.
