Hello, I have a 98 cavalier with a full air ride kit from easystreet. They sent me 2 rubber washer looking things and said that is what i need to use for my strut mount. I used these, however, the rubber is now breaking off, and the the top of the strut moves around, so my tires are wearing wrong and FAST. I tried tightening them, but they just compress, and the strut still has alot of play, which shouldnt be happening. Is there a solution to this?
yea call easy street and they will sell you just those mounts. i know jim hooked someone up before i just dont remember who
if your tires are wearing fast its probably because you never got an alignment after the install
do you have wheel play if you push on the top oustide lip of your tire? if so then you have a broken airstrut like i do right now.

I didnt mean that message for you. I have air ride on my sunfire. I didnt install those rubber mounts. I haven had any problems running with out them.

it is probally a rougher ride with out them. those help dampen the ride and sound i would think so there isnt metal to metal contact
