im running a drift kit with 17in's 45offset 215 what kind of spring do u recommend? im running POS coils and have a 2 finger gap in the front and i kinda want to stick with it so what u think?
eibach sportlines with some tokico dspecs...look at my cardomain and it should give you an idea of how low those get
i'll post pics of how low i am tommrow
hmmm, if you are looking for ride hieght with decent ride quality, try drop zone. they have like a 2.5front, 3 rear drop with decent ride quality, but handling is decreased over something like goldlines. thay come with a lifetime warranty, but get ready to use it, i had to replace my struts after about 10k.

Well after thinking about it, its more like 1.5 fingers at the front, its a very tight 2 fingers.

how about go quality instead of having to replace parts and then get a new alignment every time that doesnt make much sense to me

i have upgraded from those since because of thier premature wear, but they were a nice starter set. i do all the work myself, including the alignment, so im not concerned about that cost. i just figured most people dont have $1000 budget for suspension on thier cavalier. im not a big fan of eibachs springs either, dont like the ride or the handling. never had them on my car though, just speaking from experience on others.
i have the sportlines with koni reds on my car. handles great

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I'm on Road Magnet springs with Tokico D-Specs and I have a two finger gap almost all around. On 5 turns from full hard, the car feels stock, but when you turn its amazing the response you get. Turn them up and I get even more response, but a bit more bumpy ride. I am very, very pleased with my setup. Heres a pic; look for more by clicking my sig to go to my cardomain if your interested in seeing more pictures.

Um, yea but how low does the sportlines drop it, and what size tires are you running? front and rear?

Im running Sportlines with AGX springs
Go with quality the first time you wont regret it
WOW!!! dave, i love your buddies set up with the 18's... but how does he get them not to rub in the front??? i have teins which drop the frong 1.5 which isnt as much as the sportlines and i run 225/40/18 and i rub....? and i read that if you are going to Auto X that you dont wanna drop more than 1.5, so did he compensate for the arms not bing parrallel to the ground or are they god to run for auto X? if you dont konw that's cool, but i am interested in the rubbing problem.
Yes I am liking what I'm hearing as well. My only concern is that I know the sportlines drop the car more than my Tein's.... and that silver cavy with the sportlines is running the sportlines with 225/40/18. From what I see he isnt rubbing...I do rub. I have the same size tires and springs with less of a drop.
im stuck in the same boat. i want to go 18's but whats a good suspension set up so u dont rub?
Save some money & bag that sucka......you'll have NEGATIVE wheel gap.....lol
