installed FE-1 swaybar today

Well I finally installed my FE-1 swaybar today, Made a noticable difference but still got a fair amount of body roll. This is combined with a 99 Z24 convertible strut tower brace. Install on the sway bar took me about 1.5 hours to do. Air tools make all the difference in the world. The car has the FE-0 package so there was no sway bar.

I think that once I get some money on the side I'm gonna install front and rear addco sway bars though.

The struts will happen at some point. D-specs and new springs possibly. I would like to make the car lower than it is right now. Addco's will be the next purchase suspension wise.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Talk to 2000 Redlined, he went from a BASE (FE-0?) suspension to my Koni Sport kit w/ Addco 25.4mm swaybars and strut tower braces. No more body roll, and the car sits about 2" lower.

I sold it to make a little less of a loss out of my wreck

I loved that setup and would recommend it to anyone. I bought it about 3 months before Tein came out with their Coilovers, and about 2 months before Gravana's. I hear good things about both of those also.

I think that stiffer springs/struts will do a lot more to control your car's motion that just a couple of swaybars. If you have a lot of swaybar on really squishy springs (like the stockers) it can make your car handle funny. You'll have a much better package if you upgrade your springs and struts along with everything else.

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.

I'm getting sportlines and D-specs soon. right now I am on H&R springs which compare to the eibach pro-kit. I did notice that the car seems to wonder now when braking on a uneven surface.

The01Cav , change those stock endlinks with poly and if possible, do the same with the D bushings.
Just that change alone will help the turn in on the car and give you less pronounced sway.

Btw, springs have more effect on body roll than swaybars. Swaybars in addition to good springs will alleviate most body roll and sway.
Good luck The01Cav

Reusing old bushings isn't helping. Like said above, replace the D bushings, and get some poly bushings for the endlinks if you plan on keeping this bar.

I'm planing on running addco front and rear bars later down the road.
