i recently got the road magnet springs from the gp one here. i have them installed. it looks good and everything but in the back everytime i got over a bump it's a loud clanking noise like the springs are htting themselves.
does anyone know what this is or how it can be solved?
could be bad strut mounts or maybe even blown struts if you put the springs on stockers
there rear springs clunk. New rear mounts will help but not sure it, stiffen the suspension way up is the only clunk cure so far. If you actually read the big thread about them before you bought them you would know they do clunk in the rear and they are also surpissed to be coming out with a seperate product to get rid of the common rear spring clunk on J's
^^btw, if you want to get my opinion on these springs, pm me and i will fill you in...
So have people's opinions changed on these springs?

he just PM'd me....
No not at all if thats how it sounded, I absolutely love the springs. With the D-specs its rides factory 5 turns from full hard. I know that the springs aren't true performance lowering springs, but hey i am in it mostly for the look and it does handle way better than stock so I am very happy. Its amazing how well the ride quality is for being that low. I just got new falken tires yesterday and now my car feels even better with the new rubber. No noizes either since yesterday when I got an aligment. Best mods I have done to my car yet are the springs/struts and new tires. U still like yours??

I'm interested... it sounds from that post liek you don't liek them?
Yeah, I just don't feel like going into every thread and being an advertisement pretty much for the springs. I couldn't be happier with the setup and if people want to know more about them they can just pm me. Sorry if it made it seem like I didn't like em.
Glad to hear you guys are still satisfied.
Yes there is a knocking in the rear. We spent alot of time researching this problem and found out it has nothing to do with springs themselves, but with the design of the car. We are designing a product that will eliminate this noise and hope to have it released in the next few months. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
