I wanted to know which of these struts you think will handle the 1.2" drop I have the best.
Monroe Sensatrac
Gabriel Ultra
KYB AGX
NAPA response
I plan on getting the factory bumpstops again and install em as is ( I cut my other ones ).
Not gonna stay on them long, prolly till the end of the summer.
I realize that these struts arent for lowering, but this is the best I can do till I get some dough up for something else. ( and this time ima WARRANTY EM!!!!! DOH!!!! )
Lemme know what you guys think.
The AGXs would take a 1.2" drop as long as you need them to. They could just stay on.
The less time spent lowered on any of the others, the better.

oops, sorry, i didnt mean AGX I meant the GR-2's
In that case, they're all less than ideal. I don't think any of them has a marked advantage over the others in that situation.

The KYB's are by far a much more well designed strut. I just had our local suspension rep in my shop the other day doing a side by side compairison between Gabriel, Monroe and KYB. The tubes on the KYB's are much thicker, the seals on the pistons are much better (some of the Gabs and Monroes dont even have seals in there) and the bushings on the bottom are built into the holes so they can't pop out like on the others. KYBs are the only shocks & struts that I install at my shop.
