05 Cav w/ ABS Light Help...
Thursday, May 17, 2007 9:24 AM
my dd cavalier has ABS which I hate for the record.

Anyway it has an intermittent ABS light.. It doesnt come on all the time or at a certain time but if you drive it long enough it will eventually come on..

The code it is throwing is the LF Wheel speed sensor-excessive variation.
Now would this be the actual abs sensor on the Left wheel or would it be caused by a possible faualty Right sensor... As the left spins there is no signal from the right which would cause excessive variation..

It started happening after my g/f washed mud out of the wheel wells with a pressure washer..
