Now, I know that my RR strut mount is bad because it sounds like I have two trees in my trunk when I roll over a bump.

I'm going to swap in a complete strut because I can get a full strut assembly for $15 from a wrecker. That, and my dad doesn't want me to use a spring compressor, but a full strut swap is feasible for sure.

So how do you tell if the mount is bad when it is still mounted on a strut?
