Strut advice please

Currently I have AGX's on the front of my cav with the prokit springs. The rear suspension seems to ride ok, but the front set on the firmest setting still dont seem to be doing the best job...lots of bouncing or floating like my grandmothers buick. I was wondering if Koni Yellows would be better or what else you recomend?

I haven't personally used that combination, but I am surprised to hear it could be even loosely compared to a floaty Buick. The first thing I would do is inspect the struts for signs of failure. (Bounce test, leakage, etc.) Another possibility is that your fronts are somehow behaving badly because of balance or weight transfer issues with the chopped springs in the rear.

Koni Yellows or D-Specs would definitely both give you some additional firmness adjustability, though I have a nagging suspicion that at least part of the problem could be solved by having a matched set of springs all around.

its probably because its set too stiff. soften them up and it should ride much better

With the AGXs on stock springs, you can ride them all on level 1... Any type of a drop you don't wanna go any lower than 4 in the rear and 2 in the front, that's the base setting for a lowered car.

As much as what you say makes sense about not having matching springs I noticed this when I had the prokit rears on as well. I dont see where they are leakng and I guess its not like the buick all the time but if you hit an area with several small bumps right after one another it feels exactly like the buick. Almost like I have bags going up and down. I have them set at 4 as firm as they will go. I was thinking maybe the Konis would have a firmer setting or maybe the agx's are bad and I just dont see the leaking.
