Rear Axle removal. - WITHOUT taking off breaks?

is there a way to remove the rear axle without having to redo/bleed the brakes?? this would def cut down on some time

no and if you are doing the entire twist beam you have a lot of stuff ahead of you anyway so jsut undo them at the wheel cylinders and then bleed when you have the new ones on.

alot of stuff? how hard can it be 2 strut bolts and 2 bolts to the frame ... ebrake cable and brake lines about it

im assuming i can just undo the 4 bolts on the back of the drum and it somehow slides out and i can slide it into the new axle?

a alot of stuff... ebrake cables, brake lines, electrical connections for abs ans such, any wires wrapped aorund it.........

just got done it was a @!#$ bitch.. not too bad hardest part was connecting that damn ebrake cable..luckily i got the entire thing with drums and hubs, def saved me some time probably

Probably could have unbolted the hubs... only thing you'd have to do is disassemble the drum brakes, but wouldn't need to bleed them afterwards.

ya i finished it, except my drums from the junk yard and acting up im not sure wut is all wrong im so damn sore today from working on it the last 2 days. I got the axle on all that and bled just the pass drum is really acting up imma switch it from my old axle today
